Brian Vander Ark, in his acting debut, plays Joey, the wannabe rock star at Jelly's bar in the middle of Texas. Brian is the lead singer of the alternative rock band The Verve Pipe. The band's song The Freshman was number one on Billboard's Music Chart last year.
